That is very heavy-handed Michiel.  There's no need to comprismise a thing
here.. either you are going to be accurate and use terms that are
consistent with the truth of the situation or not.. if you choose not to,
people will (if they haven't already) decide that you are not a person
worth discussing anything with.

What does it matter if I have never expressed objections to a term that is
incorrect? My objections will not make the term more correct or more
incorrect. The term you are using is not one that is recognized by
Americans or the American Government.  It's a non-word :)

Again, the term Holland is used interchangeably by your own government, not
just people in Fidonet.  Have you contacted them to voice your displeasure?
I'd say that's a starting point.

Again, noted and not used here by me, but you cannot force your own habits
on other people when they see others from your own country using it
publicly and formally.

Now that sounds like a person who expects life to be fair, and come out all
roses everyday.. it doesn't work like that, and you (like me) know that
first hand... which is why I say you are just being hard-headed.

I've had enough of this discussion, btw. It has nothing to do with the IC
or business of with the International Coordinator.  Time to get this echo
back where it belongs..
