Interesting ... JM has found that Couriers talk well with other Couriers, but 
not so to Rockwell-based modems.  Especially the GVC.
My experience between my Courier and other Rockwell-based modems hasn't led 
me to draw the same conclusions; most connections have been fine.
But I suppose the round-trip line quality needs to be considered too.
The mentality of modems getting along with their own kind but not others is a 
bad thing.  Xenophobic modem manufacturers, perhaps?
