A couple of folks have suggested that MR utility? Something like that,
anyhow. Trying that at a command prompt gives me this:
E:\MAX3>mr
MR Maximus *.MSG Maintenance Program Version 3.01
Copyright 1991, 1999 by Lanius Corporation. All rights reserved.
Format:
MR [options] [area...]
[area...] are one or more area names to be renumbered. For typical use, to
renumber all areas, run:
MR all
The supported options are:
-m - use as the message area data file
-p - use the PRM file from instead of MAXIMUS
environment var
