One has to pay attention to one's body. And to what the body is telling you.
In 2004 I had this 'tired' feeling in the middle of my chest, anytime I did any
physical exertion at all - like climbing a flight of stairs. Went to the Offutt
base hospital (since closed and converted to a walk-in clinic), they put me on
a heparin drip and admitted me to the coronary unit of a civilian hospital 7
miles away. Turned out I had a 99% blockage in one coronary artery, a balloon
angioplasty and stent fixed that. Had I ignored that 'tired' feeling I wouldn't be
typing this to you today.
