We payed about 90EUR per person for an extra month in Thailand. The first
month was on the normal home-insurance and you call that cheap?

That wasn't exactly the case after the Tsunami. Some Swedes had to pay for
their own but then I don't know if they had an insurance and not even the
Swedish government payed anything.

For some it works like that. Have a friend that had a heart-problem at the
Canaries and he was flown home in 1:st class via Hamburg in Germany with
an own doctor and they stayed at a 1:st class hotel in Hamburg.
