For those of you who have read the UFO echo for the last 5 or 6 years, you
may recall a user and experiencer named James Root. A couple of years ago
(or so) I obtained James' permission to post the following txt messages he
posted here 4 or 5 years ago. Actually, it may have been longer than I
recall, as time flys by fast when one grows older.

At the time, Don Allen was moderator, and I ran an ongoing thread called,
"Experiencers only." The mini-echo was designed in such a way as to permit
the experiencers immunity to the cat-calls of the other users. This was also
agreed to by the then moderator Don Allen.

Don left FidoNet around this time, and I inherited UFO from him. He did
occasionally show up as a guest user on "Doc's Place" BBS down south.
