SELINSGROVE, Pa. - For the second week in a row, Saturday night's racing 
program at Selinsgrove Speedway has been postponed until Sunday due to rain.

Track officials will resume the four division racing program of sprints, 
late models, pro stocks and roadrunners at 6:30 p.m. Sunday night. Track 
gates will open at 4:30 p.m., with practice laps slated for 6 p.m.

The second of three late model heats was on the track when rain began to 
fall at approximately 8:15 p.m. The postponement was announced at about 8:40 
p.m. when heavy rain arrived.

Sprint car heats for the 29 entries were won by Bob Beidleman of Walnutport, 
Vince Snyder of Lewistown and Chad Layton of Harrisburg.

The first late model heat was won by Glen Heddings of New Columbia.

Track officials also announced that the Saturday, August 23 program 
co-sponsored by Penn-Selin Air and Penn Lyon Homes will feature 30-lap and 
20-lap championship events for the sprint car and pro stock divisions, 
respectively. The sprint car feature will pay $1,500 to win and $200 to 
start. The pro stock main event will pay $300 to win.
