Hi Clay,
OK first of all you might try backing of the port speed to 19200 as
this can cause some interesting problems eg. d/l & u/l etc
Second could quite possibly be the init string. Try using a generic modem or
a rockwell 14.4 these init strings are pretty simple and will work with just
about anything. I think they use an init string Like this AT&d2&c1s0=0s11=60
or somesuch
