Cleaned up the horses on Saturday morning - I gave Sham a FULL "beauty 
treatment"  ..... I gave her a "show" clipping - head, legs, etc.  
Then I went to work on X.  I had clipped his front legs before but had never 
done his back legs before ...... Buddy held him and I started clipping ...... 
shoot, he was really very good -- UNTIL -- ahhhhhhhh ..... I was down on my 
hands and knees clipping his right front leg ...... evedently he thought he 
had a fly on his leg -- he lifted his leg and his knee knocked me on my 
cheekbone ..... it feld like I'd been SLUGGED by a fighter it hit so hard 
.... shoot, it knocked my contact loose  .... I'm OK but my cheek 
is still a little swollen. I wasn't being carless ..... it was just one of 
those things that happens. Then I polished Sham and X's hooves with black 
shoe polish.  Both horses looked so pretty when I got done!!!
    Then in the afteroon Bren and I went over to the show - he Sham rode in 
all the events but I just rode X around the grounds like last month during 
the speed events.  X LOVES to just "socialize" .  It was nice and
we both had fun!!
