  It keeps the messages up to the faulty one, and skips the rest of
that packet before it goes on to finish the rest... and leaves a
message with the name of the faulty packet so you can go and have a
look.

  I originally intended to just skip the faulty message and process
the rest of the packet, but it gets a bit hairy trying to double-guess
what might have gone wrong.

  I work on 10%. If I can understand 10% of what I read, I reckon that's
close enough.
