I have a Squish question that I have not been able to find the answer for in the documents. I have one message area that is rather active and I have gotten a bit behind in due to business travel and such. Since it is the LINUX echo, it has a very high "good message content" rate, so I don't want to dump the messages, and since I have plenty of disk space, I don't have any real need to do so. The question I have is: With Squish and a *.msg message base, is there a maximum message number that can be handled? Back in "the old days" I would use the renumbering feature of CONFMAIL to renumber the messages periodically to keep the ranges more reasonable. And I am using *.msg format because I have become rather comfortable with them over the last 15 years or more of being a point, and why change a known good thing? :-) I guess that I could get the SQUISH source and check it out myself, but with only most weekends and about every third or fourth workweek in town, that might take a while. Thanks for whatever assistance can be supplied.
