The trunktracker works as advertised. As a regular scanner however,
it is ho hum at best.
In Trunking mode, the unit is pretty much deaf compared to a conventional
scanner, compared side to side on a service monitor. It does, however,
work ok in most settings.
The antenna that Bearcat includes is squat, both for not being
cut for 800, and for losing its center pin.
The battery system, well, is REAL clunky, but they do give you a
spare battery pack upfront.
All in all, I feel it was worth what I paid, $229.00 plus shipping.
