Technically speaking, yes, they should but in this particular context, they're
not. I conclude that I'm trying to do something for which WinPoint isn't
designed to do.

This raises another issue which I hadn't thought of until now. I don't have a
"DUPES" area but I would have expected WinPoint to have automatically created
one. ISTM that WinPoint's dupe checking is broken.
