   What the f... does existing fidonet technology have to do with how it is
being used? You have a pair (or more) of phone copper wires going into your
house, right? Do you think that, just because you have no social life, they
"have no reason to exist"?

   As I've said before, some of you, acid munching hippies, really should
start studying the OSI layer theories of networking before you open up your
keyboards again...
