-> By reading the BB, 12x12, all the AA literature I can get my hands
-> on, heading 40 miles West of here to a meeting when I can (I try at
-> least once a month or more...and I'm due ;-0), good friends in the
-> program here and other electronic places and good old telephone
-> calls when necessary!! It's not easy sometimes, but we manage :-)!!!
Don't forget the AA Loners-Internationalists Meeting, a special
meeting-in-print and correspondence service, both print and (lately)
electronic, for people who can't get to enough meetings due to
distance or illness or whatever. It has been a lifesaver for me.
If you're interested, just write to AA Loners-Internationalists, Box
459, Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10163, and ask them to put you
on the list; you'll get an excellent monthly newsletter crammed with 40
or 50 members' sharings, an address directory of other LIM members, and
probably some really interesting letters from LIMers around the world
welcoming you to LIM--in the first month after my name and address
appeared in the newsletter, I heard from (among others) Northern
Ireland, central Alabama, southern India, a guy on a boat in the middle
of the ocean, and Greybull, Wyoming.
