RSJ>BM> So, what do you think are the *worst* restaurants on-property?
RSJ> There is one at the end of Main Street in WDW on the left side as
RSJ> you face the castle. I can't remember the name ... but they serve
RSJ> hotdogs and other foods. The last time I went there the fries were
RSJ> cold, the dog was cold and the soda was hot.
That sounds like Casey's Corner--the baseball themed replacement for
Coke Corner. I don't recommend the hotdogs there, but not because of
temperature.
Last visit, the seagulls were roosting on the roof like vultures. Every
time someone came out holding a hotdog, they swooped down and swiped the
wienie! The really sad part is that this show was more entertaining
than the 'Remember the Magic' parade we were waiting for at the time.
One other point about bad food at the Parks: One those rare occasions
where I have received bad or incorrect food, I have quietly pointed out
the problem to the restaurant managers, and every time I received either
a prompt correction or a free meal. Disney has high standards for guest
satisfaction (even if the quality assurance on the food itself is
suspect), and they have never failed to go out of their way to apologize
and make an effort to set things right for me.
Of course, this can be difficult of time-consuming at fast food windows,
so just take your receipt to the Guest Services desk at that park (Town
Hall at MK), and I'm confident they'll make every effort to restore the
correct level of magic to your day.
Or you could take your frustrations out on one of the seagulls. Pretty
good eating if you barbecue them, and the hotdog lovers will thank you.
