 Well, I buy my food at a local Feed store here in South Bend, and I mix 
different foods together, EX: regular bird food, dried fruits and veggies,
peanutes, and sunflower seeds along with a few red peppers, those are his
favorite. Now I am not sure what kind of parrot you have, but I have a
Quaker Parrot and he's about 6 months old. Now he does a little nit picking
at his food, when I change it which is everyday, there is still some
untouched food in there. I hope this helps.  Joe
