timEd 1.11.a5 (Linux version)

When entering data in the recipient, address and subject fields, spaces
mysteriously appear between characters. Although this is only cosmetic, I
find it somewhat irritating and ISTR someone else mentioning this. The BeOS
version does *not* exhibit this behaviour ??
