As long as they're not jumpered to conflict, that should be fine.

Yeah, I'd disable those too!  You must be low on ISA slots though.

Version 1.20 ??  I tried that with my Genius 3-button mouse (which OS/2
doesn'trecognise), but it seemed awfully flaky to me.

As far as IBM are concerned, it means HandShake in that context.  There are
four RTS options, ON, OFF, HS (which I've always used), and TOG, which
toggles RTS during transmit.  In your case, considering your upload
problems, it could well be worth trying RTS=TOG.
