KNOXVILLE, IOWA (AUGUST 16, 2003)  -  Shane Stewart of Bixby,
Oklahoma, has all but clinched the second annual Auto Trader Southern
Iowa SprintWeek point championship, worth $2,500 cash and the "Mr. Sprint
Car" title.  

With last night's win in the Kele World Challenge, Texan
Travis Rilat moved into second place in the week-long series of sprint
car races between Knoxville and Oskaloosa (8 shows in 8 straight
nights).  However, even if Rilat were to win tonight's 43rd annual Ford
Dealers of Iowa Knoxville Nationals and Stewart were to finish last,
Travis would only win the title by two points.  

Rilat will start the
evening in the "C" Main, while Stewart is locked into the points-paying
"A" Main already.  Car owner for Stewart's mIn Motorsports entry is Scott
Chilcutt, while Rob Hart, Cathy Barrows and David Sharman are the
mechanics.
