Agreed, and I'd expand it further, back to the WWE Tag Title series
with Los Guerreros, Edge/Mysterio and Benoit/Angle through the period
where Team Angle and Rhyno were added to the tag mix. Between all of
the singl;es and tag matches, it's hard to think of a period where
there were better matches every week on TV outside of that period
where it seemed there was at least one ***1/2+ lucha and/or
cruiserweight match on Nitro every week.
Undertaker/Lesner was well done also. Lesner leering at pregnant Sara
Undertaker while saying "Life's a bitch" (paraphrase) was a moment
that stands alongside some of my Foley and Austin/MacMahon memories.
