Hi, Brenton.

BV> BV> Did you find out if you were eligible for any special pricing through
BV> BV> the Borland Bum-Chum fan club ? I ordered my copy today and I also
BV> FM> Don't know, didn't talk to Borland just to the distributor who had the
BV> FM> product there. I'll call them on Monday.

BV> That would have been my mate Rick. He sold a few copies at the
BV> release but not as many as he would have liked. When I spoke to him
BV> on Friday he said that there were no special deals.

The guy's name was Michael, the firm was Noble System P/L. Might get
some biz from it though, he heard me buying those shares for Paul on the
mobile, asked for my card. :-)

BV> BV> ordered one upgrade product for you. I should have it on Wednesday
BV> BV> if you want it. If not, I'll flog it to someone else.
BV> FM> Thank you. I'll see what pricing I get out of Borland and let you know
BV> FM> on Monday night. Looks like there might be an interested pensioner,
BV> FM> which could be useful as you suggested elsewhere.

BV> That's what I was thinking. Perhaps Wednesday night might be a good
BV> one for a get together ?

Done! Even if I miss lunch. Venue? (Anywhere within 100k, ie reachable
in 15 mins in The Beast. :-))

BV> FM> Did you get an upgrade yourself? Or pay the extra $100?

BV> No. I ordered the retail package for myself.

Yuppie!

BV> FM> How did you order an upgrade for me without an existing product?
BV> FM> The distributor who was there just said to fax the disk with the order.

BV> They haven't asked me yet. When they do, I'm going to ask them how
BV> they expect Hardly Normals to supply the photo-copy disks for the
BV> 250 upgrades they stock at their Auburn store. IOW, fuck-em :)

Hmmm, I have a very good connection into Hardly Normal. Didn't realise
they were flogging it. Might have got an even better deal. Not Auburn
though, Arncliffe.

Regards, FIM.
