When setting up XBBS be sure you have MSGID.DLL, MSGID.LIB and OKFILE.LST
in¨ the BBS MAIN directory. You will also need to have sub directories
named¨ INBOUND, OUTBOUND, PACKET and XPORT. After being sure this is done
run makecfg
and the BBS should work or at least boot up.¨ I know very little about the
Watcom compiler and have never used it. The¨ _fastcall is a calling
convention modifier that passes arguments in registers
rather than on the stack, resulting in faster code.
XBBS is a lot of work to set up but I am very pleased with it. I have also¨
written a CD ROM door for use with it. That can be d/l from my board.
