I was refering to the actual net servers themselves. It is mostly the
co-ordinators that call long distance AND usually get as many echos as they
can for their downlinks.

Sorry, you missed my point. A 2-3 line signature adds about 160 bytes to each
message. If the message has more then 4 or 5 hypertext changes, it'll go past
that 160 byte mark. If sysops don't want a mere 160 byte signature, then they
won't want much hypertext stuff either.
