I think we need to agree to disagree.  The only problem that I have is that
you think of FidoNet the technical entity.  And this is purely a narrow
view of it.

FidoNet technology and FidoNet (the network) are two seperate things.

Maybe that's the difference in our views?  You are insisting the technology
is the network and is all that is FidoNet.  I disagree that the technology
is the only thing that is FidoNet.
