IE, if an aggressive LEO decides he wants to take immediate control of
a non-violent situation, the PR-24 and MACE are usually the prime
choice of the moment.
Watched some revelers get nailed in San Francisco quite a few years
ago when LEO marched in after the celebration of the 49'ers taking a
long awaited Super Bowl.
Ok, maybe they were nearly out of hand, but at the time there was no
property damage or riots... just a lot of cheering and acting goofy!
There was no warning or cool-down period or anything of the like...
LEO just appeared in full storm trooper armor and lined up, arms
abreast, then started marching with the '24s swinging and the mace
a'spraying.
There could have been a better way of handling it!
