| subject: | Re: Rods on CNN |
On 28 Oct 02, concerning _Rods on CNN_, Jack Sargeant said to Troy H. Cheek in UFO: JS> I was going to write about that, but I was trying to find out JS> where the sighting was. Airport at Albany, NY, I believe. And if rumors are true, the FBI has confiscated the original tape. JS> This is thee rendition I come up with from memory, and really JS> does resemble what I glimpsed on tv. The "rod" looks like a rod JS> more than it does a "streak" on the film. How does this compare to JS> what you saw on Art Bell? JS> JS> JS> ÍÍÍÍÍØÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍØÍÍÍÍÍÍ I think you're using some ASCII characters that render different in my reader, but I assume you mean long, thin, with "legs" at 1/4th the length from each end. That's pretty much what I saw on the clip I was finally able to download from WXXA-TV FOX23. The clip is about 1.5MB and I can email it to you if you like. The clip shows a zoom and slow-motion shot of the object, which seems to show it going through or even behind a cloud, which means it's at least as far away as the plane, meaning it's at least as big as the plane. JS> Why CNN decided to NOT show the clip again is up for JS> speculation. Probably realized that they were covering UFO news and were afraid the FCC would pull their license because of it (he says half kidding). ... I'd love to, but I have to floss my cat. --- JetMail 1.01* Origin: When Starlings Mate - Benton, TN (1:362/708.4) SEEN-BY: 10/345 18/15 28/1 105/8 106/1 124/5009 129/305 143/2 205/1 229/0 SEEN-BY: 229/1000 247/101 254/6 275/311 278/230 282/4066 311/13 322/320 SEEN-BY: 343/41 362/627 708 923 379/1 12 1200 633/267 270 751/321 2404/201 SEEN-BY: 2604/416 @PATH: 362/708 627 10/345 379/1 |
