Hi again Sean,
About "MS-Kermit on TeleGard/2" of January 15:
SD> As for Kermit... ...I just have to figure out the PDF file.
MS> I may now be of assistance... ...here's how i can envision
MS> `Kermit.PDF'... ...Kermit Set Port FOSSIL ~CP, BRcv FileName.ZIP
MS> completed 5384 cps http://public.sogetel.net/bicephale/MSK.INI
SD> If you could kindly give me what I need, I'll try to set it up...
I'd like to be kinder but i'm not certain what's missing, i already
done my best to rush the setup, testing and publication process and i've
reached the limitations of this local W32 ~TelNet~ test-bench based on a
LEGACY P-200 MMX machine... %-) I believe that's all an ordinary BBSer
like me can do! Rates around 5 Kcps aren't too special so this tells me
the whole configuration is busy like nothing i've used before; i'm very
sorry to admit i may not have another ace hidden up my sleeve! 8-o The
next move right now may be to publish `Kermit.PDF' on my ~Web~ site with
a slightly touched-up version of `MSK.INI' renamed as `MSKermit.INI', or
maybe UpLoad it all to OutPost as a Ready-Made `Kermit' Setup Kit so, if
you meant that, i'll proceed unless you had something different in mind?
8^)
SD> ...the motherboard in the BBS machine is going, so next weekend, a
SD> "new" BBS machine will be purchased and hopefully set up...
This sounds like pretty good news to me! The performance will only
get a boost since i suppose you're UpGrading - not DownGrading, hey!?...
;-)
SD> ...until then, I'm not doing much work on the BBS...
There's plenty of time ahead, unless i'm dying tomorrow, but should
something like this occur suddenly, i'm relieved as i left enough traces
behind and i know it won't turn to oblivion instantly! I'll be ready to
resume course when you are. P-> Keep me posted. ;^) Have a nice day!
Salutations, 8-)
