Since this theory is shared by medical folks as well, just how many
of the children who are diagnosed with ADD or ADHD get testing for
allergies? In fact, how many children with "behavior problems" get any
physical testing at all of any kind?
The answer is they don't.  If they are lucky enough to make it to
adulthood then they are free to go find someone who will take the time
to do a complete genetic history and understand all of the problems they
may be at risk for.
There is no doctor around here known for treatment of children of
genetic alcoholics.  There are doctors who treat adult addicts AFTER
they become evident.
I'd say that this is a big lack in our health care system, one designed
to get and keep people sick on a large scale.
I live close to Seattle which does have both teaching hospitals
connected with medical and nursing schools as well as ordinary ones.
There is no one there who can read a P.E.T. scan for "mental disorders".
That is also a big hole in our health care system, one that keeps
the true diagnosis of "mental disorders" the practice of witchcraft in
comparison to using a physical test for definitive diagnosis.
The closest place that does this sort of work is Stanford, in CA.  Not
too many folks from the Puget Sound region get sent down there for a
P.E.T. or cat scan when they show up with "mental health' problems.
Nope.  We prefer to keep the ignorance and superstition rather than do
anything sane and sensible about the problem.
