Heavy Brno traffic keeps confident Roberto Rolfo from front row start.

Brno Czech Republic August 16: Heavy traffic on the Brno circuit
prevented Roberto Rolfo from maintaining his overnight front row starting
position. Rolfo was confronted with many slower riders in the dying
minutes of qualifying. Even so Rolfo is satisfied with what the team have
achieved over the weekend and is confident he will have a good race on
Sunday.

Rolfo was the only rider not to improve on his provisional qualifying
time set on Friday but he was very close on the final laps when he
encountered slower riders in traffic. In fact the session was stopped
when Rolfo was on his fastest lap, when the red flag was brought out when
Anthony West crashed.

The Fortuna Honda team start tomorrows race from the second row but with
the conviction they have a very good machine set up and the rider has
found a good rhythm for the race that will permit Rolfo to run with the
lead group, if he makes a good start.

"The fundamental problem has been our decision to dedicate the day to
finding a very god set up and race rhythm, then maintaining it. Then,
when I went out to set a fast time to go out and go for a fast time I
could not because there were too many riders on the track." Lamented the
Fortuna Honda rider.

"In general I’m happy and that’s why things have
gone so well
for us over the two days of practice, even if I could not maintain my
provisional front row position. My objective was to have good set up and
rhythm for the race, which is going to be fast and hard. I have to be
ready for those conditions that’s why I think in that aspect we
have achieved our objectives." Confirmed Roberto Rolfo.

""We have o recognise that it will be very important for us to continue
to be on the front row in qualifying, I am convinced of that. If it was
not for the traffic I found on the last laps of qualifying If not I would
have achieved that objective." Asserted a convinced Fortuna rider.
