subject: NASCAR-BUSCH: Red flag at Michigan

By Linda Przygodski, NASCAR Editor - Motorsport.com

BROOKLYN, Mich. - A heavy downpour at Michigan International Speedway has
halted the Busch series Cabela 250.

Reigning Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart dominated most of the Busch
series 250 in the Chance2 Motorsports No. 8 Chevy with a DEI power plant
under the hood. Stewart led a race high 86 laps; but lost the lead after
making his final pit stop on lap 101.

"No matter what happens I think everyone knows that we delivered the mother
load of all ass kickings. We're just getting on with it. It's been a lot of
fun; Jr. is a good buddy of mine. I'm just thankful he asked me to come
drive the thing. It's been fun running with some of the guys I haven't ran
with in awhile, hopefully we'll get to finish this thing."

At the time of the red flag, Kevin Harvick had assumed the lead. Kasey
Kahne, Bobby Hamilton, Jr., David Green and Scott Riggs round out the top
five.

"We're hoping its going to rain again in about thirty minutes and then
we'll be done with it," said leader at the time of the red flag Kevin
Harvick. "We've been playing the fuel mileage game here..that's harder than
driving around the race track normally, because you have to let off (the
gas).good day for the PayDay car."

Stewart sits mired in 11th position.

Stay tuned for further updates
