And eventually a fatal bug will come up due to the constantly changing 
operating systems and hardware.  At that point sysops if they're still 
around will be forced to either attempt to keep ancient hardware around 
to support the systems or abandon it as a useless piece of trash.

This is exactly what drove me off Irex.  I got tired of the config 
program wiping out the config all the time.  The Linux version not 
working on anything newer than RedHat 7.3.

While I respect Tim's decision.  The current state of development along 
with him being the only one who has the full source means that 
eventually TG will die.  Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but 
eventually, someday....
