In support of your single "q" theory, I saw a character on one of
my fav fiction shows use "qi" as a word in - oddly enough - a
game of Scrabble. You know enough about my past in English, that I entered
grade school knowing the names of more tools than the spelling of words,
and when I delved into "literature", it was more a technical
manual than Moby Dick. For a spell - likely six weeks - did I get
comfortable in scanning a paragraph, and turning the page without examining
every thought the author had, but that disappeared with the next mechanical
description I had to understand.

I've only noticed the sneezing starts after recuperation is in full swing.
I attribute it to those same opiate/endogenous morphine receptors being
denied, behave as if withdrawals are being revisited.
