You have to understand that the pocketbooks are done without any real ties to
the folks that actually bring out the TV shows and/or movies with the obvious
exception of the books directly attributed to the staff, like the Okuda's,
Herb Solow, etc etc.
In talking with the guys on the lot, they they're unhappy on occasion when
the books get so far out from where the actual "Canon" or production has
gone.. I've read two of the books and will never pick another up. I also
don't think much of them.
