S>It takes a whole village to raise a child.
It takes a parent to raise a child not a village. The village could
care less about the off spring and has no responsibility for its
actions. In short," that dog won't hunt" When and if the public in
the US ever want to solve the problems of our educational system it
will not be all that difficult. Make parents directly responsible for
the education of their children, understand some children will never
learn enough to survive on their own and quit funding programs that
pretend they can. Personal responsibility is the key to success not
what the village is having for dinner.
