EH> No, he did NOT give up anything. He hid out from the law until they
WRONG. He was indicted, but the evidence was found to be illegally
obtained..
"In 1973, new information came to light about FBI operations targeted
against Weather Underground and the New Left, all part of a series of
covert and often illegal FBI projects called COINTEL. [20] Due to the
illegal tactics of FBI agents involved with the program, government
attorneys requested all weapons- and bomb-related charges be dropped
against the Weather Underground, including charges against Ayers."
EH> lost interest and then went into politics. In an interview held after
EH> 9-11, Ayres said he was sorry he didn't do more terrorism.
More right-wing bullshit.
"In the ensuing years, Ayers has repeatedly avowed that when he said he
had "no regrets" and that "we didn't do enough" he was
speaking only in
reference to his efforts to stop the United States from waging the
Vietnam War, efforts which he has described as ". . . inadequate [as]
the war dragged on for a decade."
Now how does this all tie in to Obama? It doesn't, stupid.

EH> G. Gordon Liddy paid his debt to society for his crimes, none of which
EH> could be referred to as terrorist.
HAR!
Liddy got off lightly thanks to Jimm the Peanut.
"In 1971, after serving in several positions in the Nixon
administration, Liddy was moved to Nixon's 1972 campaign, the Committee
to Re-elect the President (officially known as "CRP" but to opponents
known as CREEP), in order to extend the scope and reach of the White
House "Plumbers" unit, which had been created in response to various
damaging leaks of information to the press. At CRP Liddy concocted
several plots, some far-fetched, intended to embarrass the Democratic
opposition.[4] These included kidnapping anti-war protest organizers and
transporting them to Mexico during the Republican National Convention
(which at the time was planned for San Diego), as well as luring mid-
level Democratic campaign officials to a house boat in Baltimore where
they would be secretly photographed in compromising positions with
prostitutes. Most of Liddy's ideas were rejected by Attorney General
John N. Mitchell, but a few were given the go-ahead by Nixon
Administration officials, including the break-in at Daniel Ellsberg's
psychiatrist's office in Los Angeles. Ellsberg had leaked the Pentagon
Papers to the New York Times.[5] At some point, Liddy was instructed to
break into the Democratic National Committee offices in the Watergate
Hotel."
"Liddy was the Nixon Administration liaison and leader of the group of
five men who broke into the headquarters of the Democratic National
Committee at the Watergate Complex with the intent to plant listening
devices.[6] Liddy did not participate in the break-in himself, insomuch
as he did not actually enter the Watergate Complex, rather, he admitted
to supervising the break-in from another hotel across the street."
"For his crime, which he coordinated with E. Howard Hunt, Liddy was
convicted of conspiracy, burglary and illegal wiretapping. Liddy was
sentenced to a 20-year prison term and was ordered to pay $40,000 in
fines. He began serving the sentence on January 30, 1973. On April 12,
1977, President Jimmy Carter commuted Liddy's sentence to eight years,
"in the interest of equity and fairness based on a comparison of Mr.
Liddy's sentence with those of all others convicted in Watergate related
prosecutions", leaving the fine in effect.[7] Carter's commutation made
Liddy eligible for parole as of July 9, 1977. Liddy was released on
September 7, 1977 having served a total of four-and-a-half years of
actual incarceration."
These are Liddy's actual quotes:
August 26, 1994 - Now if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go
for a head shot; they're going to be wearing bulletproof vests." ...
"They've got a big target on there, ATF. Don't shoot at that, because
they've got a vest on underneath that. Head shots, head shots.... Kill
the sons of bitches.
September 15, 1994 - If the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
insists upon a firefight, give them a firefight. Just remember, they're
wearing flak jackets and you're better off shooting for the head.
Now who's "Palling around with terrorists?"
RS>>>> After he leaves office, will he stay in politics, even as just
EH> a TR>> political RS>commentator?
RS>> You chopped off my next sentence, which is typical for you.
EH> The next sentence doesn't make you point any further. You are an
EH> idiot.
Wrong, asshole. I was wondering what Obama would be doing after he
leaves the White House.
He could do like Bush said, "I'll give some speeches, just to replenish
the ol' coffers."
TR>>> Its not a surprise that pretty much all radicals tend to gyrate
EH> to the TR>> democrat party. Thats their natural home.
RS>> And by the same logic, all radical anti-government neo-Nazis and
EH> guys RS> like Charles Dyer gyrate to the GOP.
EH> Huh?

TR>>> "It is said that great men often stand upon the shoulders of
EH> giants, TR>> but Obama is a first----a man who has ridden to
EH> greatness on the TR>> shoulders of an army of fawning
dwarves----"
EH> ........Columnist Mac TR>> Johnson
RS>> A far-right bullshit writer and hack, who has a column at a
EH> far-right RS> bullshit web site, and gets praised by far-right
EH> rabble-rousing RS> assholes.
EH> Uh... you hang out on a far-left web forum and quote as evidence to
EH> back up your inanity far-left blogs and websites.
