I too have one of those old dinosaurs .  This was the first scanner I
owned.  It was a good scanner but the pc board was hand soldered so cold
solder joints etc. plagued this model.  My batteries still won't hold
the memory and I have been after a schematic to try to fix this problem
but so far have not had any luck.
However I do have the manual so here are the ranges;
Low band         32-50
Ham band        146-148
High band       148-174
Uhf band        450-470
Uhf "T" band    470-512
Govt. Uhf       420-450
If there is anything else you need from the manual just holler.
