I remember seeing you talk about your bird too. One of the girls, Rene, over on AIE has a pair of Lilac Crowns now that she hopes to breed. How is your little dove? I have a flight, about 4X4X6(or8) ft that has a small colony of about eight or ten doves, both ringnecked (beige) and barbary (whites). We just sorta inherited them. I haven't successfully raised them though. When I tried they were very filthy as were their nestboxes. This year we raised a baby Yellow Crown Anazon from our pair (although the Mexican Redheads actually fed and raised him to two or three weeks) and we took it from there. He is about 4 months now I guess. He is very smart. We haven't sold him yet, and probably won't. Ed is getting very attached to him. He already says "Hi" "Helloooo!" "Pretty Bird" and "Rock and Roll!" (picked it up off Fox TV the week "Don't Tell Mon the Babysitter's Dead" was coming on TV. What we REALLY need is ANOTHER bird but he is special and easy to get attached to. Very smart. I've never seen a big baby talk this fast. Thanks, again! BOO!
