 Trips not going to happen the way we planned it Linda.. (sorry for the 
 late reply, I saw this just after vacation and a lot of stuff has happened
 since)
 Harriet twisted my arm and spoke some sense to me the last coupla days...
 I am flying to NYC, ragged old car get's left behind here.. and I fly 
 in 20.. that's right _20_ days from now... so in about a week my point
 and 'puter get's boxed up and shipped... if any legal matters regarding
 my untimely dismissal from my job do not come to a head by then...
 the hell with it, it's not worth the fight.. I can always deal with the
 corporate critters down in Md better from the east coast....
 The unemployement folks have been draggin my case over the coals for the 
 last week with no answer.... I have to keep these hands clear of that, 
 because I was in charge of a "bureau" once and if you were in a hurry
 I'd make ya wait longer to teach you patience... so the same is happenin
 to me...
 Needless to say I want a solution -=NOW=- and that aint gonna happen...
 so I wait..... 
 I am still sober.. saneness is beening provided by a small local chapter
 of Alanon (that program's r e a l subtle) providing me with more insight
 on how to remain sane and serene (ok I'll admit I am tad crazy about 
 waiting) 
 so that's all the news that fit to print this fine May day....
