The Exe probably has one of 2 things inolved. It has a self
check. So the author may have had it check itself for filesze
or end of file marker. The patch may have fiddled with that
thus the error. Probably so that no cracks could be done on
the program to get it free. The other thing it could be pklited
or compressed. I have a program called Wcomp which shows all
formats of exes in which language they were written in and
if compressed. There should be a way to check that. You could
then unlite/uncompress it then patch it then repklite it.
