I'd love to offer constructive critisism of your comments but I can't,
because I completely agree with them! I've never understood the
adulation so many people heap upon a band I have always considered
mediocre in the extreme.
I have to be honest & admit that I never cared for Genesis that much
either (pause to don tin helmet & pile up sandbags before expected
attack :-] ), but at least in their case I could understand why others
might. So at least you can take heart in the fact that someone will be
there to face the flaming with you. By the way I agree about Foreigner
too.

Subject: Searching for Epitaph on CD
Date: 09/02/97; 6:01:58 PM

Hello,

I've got three relatively rare LP's from a German prog group called
"Epitaph." They're a "Wishbone Ash" knock-off band, equipped with some
serious dueling guitar leads, but they stand out with some VERY good and
unique songwriting. I've got the following three LP's by them:

Epitaph: 1971
Stop, Look & Listen: 1972
Outside the Law: 1974

Since the GEPR only lists the LP dates with no accompanying write-up,
maybe I'll submit a short review of the band. These three LP's are
definitely prog classics and scream for a CD reissue, but I've never
seen them listed anywhere. Does anyone know if this band has EVER made
it onto CD?

Hey everyone,

Since there is an interest in the band "Ghost" on this list, I thought
I'd forward this message which was posted to my psychedelic discussion
group, U-SPACES. As far as I know, Ghost finished up their U.S. tour on
August 30. Unfortunately I wasn't able to check them out when they came
to L.A. Here's a review of their performance in Washington D.C.
