subject: Cable TV channels

NB>Gotta question I hope somebody can answer. Does any cable TV channels fall
  >within the 108-137 aircraft band? The reason I am asking is because I know
o
  >a cable leak in my neighborhood. We can pick up many of the cable channels
  >clearly with an antenna. However, when I tune to cable channel 14 while
usin
  >an antenna, I can also pick up aeronautical communications. I have been
tryi
  >for over 2 months to get the cable company to fix the problem (as I am a
cab
  >subscriber and our cable reception is VERY poor), and if I can prove that
  >there is a possibility that they are interefering with aircraft
  >communications, it might give them more incentive to fix the leak.
If the cable company's signal is "leaking", a letter to the FCC
Engineer in Charge with a copy to your cable company should solve your
problem.
