DW> This will be a short addenda to a message I posted earlier. When
DW> were the F-101B Voodoos finally phased out of service?
According to "Fighters Of The United States Air Force" (a
comprehensive history), F-101Bs served with the ANG from 1970 to
1982. At the time of publication (1990) a few F-101Bs were
*still* in service in the Canadian Air Force, being used for
electronic warfare. I have not been able to find out when the
last F-101Bs were phased out of the USAF, though.
DW> magazine back in the late 70's and early 80's when I was in AFJROTC.
DW> According to 82/83 Military Balance issue of Air Force Magazine though,
DW> they weren't listed in the US Order of Battle.
You might have just barely missed the last mention, then.
DW> Aircraft c.1973, the Taiwanese Air Force fielded 25 RF-101As. Yet, no
DW> the 101. Does anyone know anything about this one?
I'm afraid I can't help you here.
