>Notes of Interest
The American release list will be updated "as needed."
This usually means several times per week.
All release date listings are presented in the western format (
Month/Day/Year).
When "00" is listed as the day, that means the game is supposed to
come out some time within that month -- but an exact date is unknown.
TBA means "To Be Announced."
If you see a (64DD) mark next to a game title, that means you
must have the 64DD disk drive add-on, which is coming in 1999
to the U.S., in order to play the game.
Games listed as "Unknown" do not have a release date yet.
They could appear as early as summer 1998, as late
as fall 1999, or they might not ever come out at all.
The reason games are sometimes listed under "Winter `98," or
"1st Quarter `98," is because they are due sometime during
that three-month period, but there is no exact date for them.
Here is the month breakdown just in case you don't know:
Winter or 1st Quarter = January, February or March
Spring or 2nd Quarter = April, May or June
Summer or 3rd Quarter = July, August or September
Fall or 4th Quarter = October, November or December
> Games Marked ... ** are games that are touted as being the "Big" games
f
> that year.. The games to look out for...
