When we have the funds to provide every child an education conmensurate
with his or her ability, then it will be fair to spend 6« times more on
some of them. Right now, some schools can't even afford to provide each
regular ed kid with a textbook for every class or teachers with
instructional materials, but receive funds to provide field trips for
the special ed classes to go to Target to teach the kids how to buy
stuff. (No lie, this happened at the Prep last year.)
In the meantime, I'd like to see the same amount or near enough spent on
each student.
My opinion.
