i tested it. it can't handle more than 8.3 filenames :/

i just thought it would be nice to look at the screen i watched so many  
hours in the good old days. the gsz/dsz had a shiny look. i have it  
running with Telemate 4.0 in my dosbox. but sadly, as in my top line  
wrote, it can't handle long filenames. dsz/gsz seems to be not working and  
waiting for the filename but can't understand a long filename - so no  
transfer starts.

but i will have a look at the sexyz protocol.
