I should note that with the contact which took place with the
light hovering above the schoolyard, the next day the newspapers
reported that many people had phoned in, stating that they
wondered what the bright light was that they saw hovering.
The newspapers reported that the official statement was that it
was a weather balloon. I thought this description rather strange
as weather balloons don't hover in one place for hours, and then
follow you home!

The fifth contact happened several years later. I was about
18 years of age at the time. I was sitting with my studies
when the voice came suddenly again. The building had access to
the roof and tenants were allowed to go up there.
The voice said, "Put aside your books and come up on the roof, we
are close by and we want to show you something."

Immediately I went up on the roof deck, and the voice said, "Look
directly to the West, and you will see us."
There were dimmer stars visible in the night sky, but in
particular there were three bright coloured lights arranged in a
triangular pattern flashing different colours. These lights were
positioned due West.

Then the voice said, "Watch closely as we move, note the angle on
your watch."
The first light at the top of the triangle formation began to
move, and it moved slowly until it reached the 10 minute mark
of my watch. I kept the 12 hour mark aligned with the first
location directly to the West.
The first top light then stopped and began to flash. It was a
bright yellow colour.
Then immediately the light which had been positioned at the right
bottom of the triangle also moved in the same fashion, until it
positioned itself below the yellow light in the same formation as
it had been before it moved.
This light was a blue-green colour.
The finally the light which was left from the original formation
moved in the same way and stopped, forming the original triangle.
The voice then said, "Take note of the angle, and tomorrow you
will know why we are here."

The next day the newspapers reported that many people had phoned
in and had reported that they had observed many coloured lights
hovering over the Lake, and that they had been moving around
and forming triangular patterns.
The reason for the angle became obvious as it became apparent
that they were pointing in a certain direction which had
significance to them.

I plotted this angle, and found that it intersected exactly on
the Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto.
The newspaper also reported the fact that The Royal York Hotel
had hosted a conference the evening before, which had such
notables as Carl Sagan, and many other scientists, and that the
main discussion at this conference was centred around the
possibility that alien life form existed and were possibly
visiting us here on Earth.

To me this was simply a confirmation that they existed (others
had also reported seeing them), and that they had a special
interest in how we were reacting to the possibility that they are
visiting us.
To put such a display on for so many people to see, had to be for
some reason. The Conference taking place seems to satisfy that
question.

I read no official comment on the lights being reported in the
sky, and no reason was stated as to why they were seen.
Such a complicated light show would be obviously difficult to
explain off as being weather balloons or the planet Venus.

Official statements seemed to be made at times when these
conditions might apply.

It was to be a few years more before the final contact was made.

I would like to add a note here, and state that after all this
time, I have come to the conclusion that I was obviously selected
as some sort of Witness to the events that were unfolding, and
this was in regard to times when they attempted a certain level
of contact. The policy for them might have been that they were
hesitating in making a full contact and revealing themselves
completely, and were relying on less spectacular methods such as
keeping in touch with certain individuals that they had selected
to serve as witnesses.

The fact that there were numerous reports of sightings seeing the
same sort of coloured lights indicted that there was a large
grouping of craft taking place, and that they considered this
particular conference important and significant to making
decisions for future contacts.

They had chosen for various reasons to maintain a safe distance
while they were undertaking a study to find out the best way to
reveal themselves if at all.
These are impressions that I received, and are probably ones
which are not too far off the actual truth.
That they were remaining this way was a certainty for me as it
all tied in with the conversation that I had had in the original
first close contact.

I should point out that these "conversations" were not
complicated and long ones, they were just mainly issued to me as
commands to do something, etc.
Each time a contact took place, I didn't have the opportunity to
ask too many questions on my own, with the exception of the
question about them helping us with a cure for cancer.

In the final part I will make an attempt to get the timings,
dates etc., clarified for chronological purposes)
