| subject: | Bloody BC++ |
Hello all,
like the negro with his dick in the custard, I'm fucking
disgusted.
I just installed BC++ on my superfast all-singing all-dancing
computer, and it's *still* too bloody slow.
When it compiles there is an awful lot of hard disc activity going
on, in spite of me giving the bloody thing 2 megs of RAM to play with,
and this has gone beyond a joke. It took 4 seconds to compile and run
"hello world". I can type it faster than that!
My questions are these:
1. What bloody things is it reading off the hard disc?
2. What bloody things can I put on a RAM disc to speed it up?
3. What's the cheapest I can get Turbo Pascal 7?
Regards,
Bob
