James...
JB{at}> I've been trying to go short distances without my stick, lately. Now
JB{at}> and again, I find myself harrumphing as I pick something up off the
JB{at}> ground, and I realize other patrons don't have that visual cue. It *is*
JB{at}> natural, that someone without exposure to limitations and the
JB{at}> compensations to deal with them, might find me odd.
I had to start using a portable walker, due to moderate to severe muscle
cramping/pain. The cold weather doesn't help things, but I'm afraid the
arthritis is going to make me use it more often. I took it with me to
church yesterday. It's not so much having trouble walking, but when I get
one of those sharp pains in my legs, I need something to hold onto, if my
legs decide to buckle.
