If you've ever thought of getting into doing match reviews and wondered if
the talent sent feedback or complaints to the reviewers for rating a match
too low, I can say it happens. I don't mind being blasted for negative
reviews cause I'm heavy into political discussions and if I can handle that,
I can handle being chewed out by a wrestler...as along as they don't get
physical. *smirk* Let's take a look at the pile I've gathered this time:

Central States Wrestling out of Missouri

"Mr. Showtime" Darrien Sanders vs. Iceman vs. Thanatos

Pro Championship Wrestling out of California

Mr. Primetime vs. Sir Byron Rouge

World Championship Wrestling out of Georgia

Bill Goldberg vs. "The Cat" Ernest Miller
Bltizkrieg vs. Juventud Guerrera
Scott Hall vs. Kevin Nash
15-man Cruiserweight Battle Royal - Title Shot to the Winner

World Wrestling Federation out of Connecticut

Lita & Trish Stratus vs. Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keiber
The Rock vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Brock Lesnar

New videos from indy feds have been hard to find, but we got a new entry
from the site http://www.mrwwrestling.com and this promotion is called
Central States Wrestling out of Maryville, MO. This group does not have a
connection to the old CSW that was NWA Central States Wrestling based out of
Kansas City, MO from the 50s-80s. Yeah I was able to watch their shows on
television when it was on.

CSW Midwest Championship - Triple Threat
(c)"Mr. Showtime" Darrien Sanders 6'4" 215lbs. San Diego, CA
vs. Thanatos
6'2" 225lbs. Lawrence, KS vs. The Iceman 5'8" 180lbs. Chillicothe, MO - The
Iceman has very short hair and wears silver and black, Thanatos has thick
brown hair and wears black tights, and Sanders is the heel and wears white
and black with an eerie resemblance to the WWE's Maven. Oh they're chanting
"Maven" at him! HA HA! The crowd watching this looks to be a bit small,
and they have the seats a bit too close to the ring with no safety barriers.
The ref checks over everyone but when he gets to Sanders, he checks over the
referee instead. Cute. Sanders kneels for Iceman to get him, lockup
Sanders and Iceman, headlock and trip Ice. So Ice and Thanatos lockup,
waistlock Ice, headlock, hammerlock, reversed, snap mare and kick Thanatos.
Sanders and Thanatos lockup, armbar and kick Sanders. Ice misses a charge,
superkick Thanatos, superkick Sanders, suplex Sanders on Ice, one finger
cover gets one. Thanatos is outside, springboard spinning kick that catches
him more with the back than the legs. Thanatos whip flying knee, another
whip into a fireman's carry face breaker. Thanatos to the top with a
clothesline to the back and Iceman breaks up the pin. Iceman slugs on
Thanatos, whip reverse crossbody Iceman gets two and is broken up. Sanders
with an ankle lock on the mat. Thanatos applies a sickle hold but Iceman
breaks it up. Iceman whip Sanders Japanese arm drag. Double whip, side
slam inverted DDT combo, Thanatos covers but Ice breaks it up for him to
cover and gets one. Thanatos slams Iceman, elbow gets two. Sanders whip
Thanatos into an enzuigiri. Sanders goes for a powerbomb on Iceman but gets
rana'ed down. DDT Iceman on Sanders gets two. Thanatos back in and kicks
Sanders out, Iceman throws Thanatos out. Thanatos slams Sanders head on a
table, chops, Sanders knees him, gets a chair and whacks him with it. He
sets the chair down and takes a seat, Iceman does a flying body tackle on
him. Is Sanders an idiot or something? Who would sit in a chair and wait
for someone to tackle you in the chair like that? Iceman slugs Sanders,
jams the chair in the throat. Thanatos with a springboard suicide dive on
the two men. Thanatos is celebrating like a madman, gets a cookie sheet and
whacks the two with it. Iceman tossed in, Thanatos slingshot legdrop gets
two. Small package Iceman gets two. Clothesline Thanatos, grabs him by the
legs, lifts him up and drops him down twice with his full weight on top, a
crunching type of finisher but it pins him at 8:10 minutes. Wait the match
isn't over? So it's elimination rules? Then why were those guys breaking
up all the pin covers to this point? It's Thanatos and Sanders left in the
ring and Sanders kicks away. Sanders drops the leg low but gets two.
Sanders with a running shooting star misses. Thanatos slugs away, whip
elbow tackle. Thanatos on the top, inverted headlock, inverted DDT on the
knee from the ropes! Thanatos goes for a bow and arrow but can't hold it,
so he applies a butterfly armbar. Sanders up, inverted stunner with a one
foot cover gets one. Sanders suplex into a powerslam gets two. Sanders
whip reverse to the corner, Thanatos kicks away, goes for a move but Sanders
kicks him. Sanders with an enzuigiri on the top rope! Sanders with a
flying body tackle off the ropes on the outside, somehow missing the front
row of people. Toss in Sanders, cradle gets two. Sanders goes for a suplex
is blocked, Thanatos kicks away, fisherman's suplex gets two. Thanatos with
a gut wrencher, goes to the top, 450 splash misses. Sanders with the Styles
Clash, rollover gets three!

WINNER and STILL CHAMP: "Mr. Showtime" Darrien Sanders pin ->
13:45 mins.

Last one from my indy pile for now, this one is from http://pcw.mavjac.com
and requires the Quicktime 6 Player.

PCW Heavyweight Championship
Mr. Primetime 5'11" 215lbs. Philadelphia, PA vs. Lord Byron Rouge 6'2"
240lbs. United Kingdom - This video is a bit bright. Rouge is the one who's
wearing a purple cape as if he's royalty or something. MPT is in the red
and green. Lockup, headlock MPT, shoveoff and shoulderblock has no effect.
Headlock takedown Rouge, MPT with an armbar but we're in the ropes. Lockup,
headlock shove shoulderblock Rouge. Lockup, armbar takedown MPT, Rouge
reverses it, takedown, Code Red, MPT rolls him up for two. Lockup, to the
corner, shoulder in the corner, chop, whip forearm shot gets two. Rouge
with a headlock, MPT shoveoff, drop kick, armdrags, hip toss and Lord Rouge
bails. MPT follows but Rouge kicks him on the way back in. Suplex Rouge
gets two. Rouge with a slam, to the second rope, flying elbow gets two.
Headlock on the mat, MPT chant, MPT fights out, runs the ropes but gets
caught in a rib breaker for two. Rouge has a headlock on the mat, MPT
punches out, whip back body drop MPT. Clothesline, stomp, MPT does a
headstand on the top rope, then slingshots off to the side and splashes
Rogue, which alas was a bit hard to see. MPT whip flying headscissors.
Rouge up first, slugfest, MPT chops in the corner, whip reverse Rouge eats a
boot then a superkick. MPT goes up, frogsplash gets three. Match wasn't
anything special.

WINNER and STILL CHAMP: Mr. Primetime pin -> 8:20 mins. *½

Moving on to the classic matches from World Championship Wrestling, here's a
quickie from http://www.goldberg.ru on an episode of WCW Thunder in 1999.
There are some other matches there but I’ve reviewed those before.

Goldberg vs. "The Cat" Ernest Miller - Cat with a superkick that spins him
around, but Miller stupidly celebrates like an idiot allowing Goldberg to
spear him down, jackhammer follows and it's over. Total squash.

WINNER: Goldberg pin -> 35 seconds. DUD

The next couple matches come from http://www.wrestlingzone.ru which is a
Russian site that rotates out matches for download. Now that I have gotten
so many of them by the time I do my review the match will have been taken
down and replaced with something else.

Bltizkrieg vs. Juventud Guerrera - This was from Spring Stampede 1999.
Lockup hammer Blitz, reversed, Blitz flips over. Juvi trips him, side
sunset gets one. Ankle lock Blitz, Juvi rollup two. Blitz headlock shove

Juvi lands on the apron and rams Blitz into the turnbuckle ten times.
Springboard dropkick Juvi, Blitz out, suicide dive Juvi to the floor.

gets two. Blitz blocks a suplex and hits a jumping back kick. Whip to the
corner, drop kick Blitz, Juvi is out, Blitz goes up, Juvi walks away, Blitz
goes up again at another corner but eats a drop kick off the dive. Juvi
whip, armdrag Blitz. Juvi out, Blitz suicide springboard moonsault to the
floor. Moves are tried, blocked, Juvi hits a neckbreaker and gets two.
Juvi sits Blitz on top, Juvi a side suplex off the top but gets tripped
down, Blitz with a twisting 450 and misses. Juvi goes for the finish, gets
rolled up for two. Blitz puts Juvi on top, gets on the shoulders, spins and
flips him off for two. Blitz puts Juvi on top, Juvi hits his Super Driver
off the top rope and wins it.

WINNER: Juventud Guerrera pin -> 11:15 mins. ***¾

"Last Call" Scott Hall vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash - This
one was held at
Halloween Havoc 1998 and right in the middle of Hall's drinking problems
which they turned into a big angle that made his personal problems worse and
not better. At least Stone Cold Steve Austin had a more effective method of
treating Hall's alcohol problems, every time he held a beer, Austin gave him
a stunner. Hall throws his drink in Nash's face and kicks him outside, rams
him in the rail, the post, the mike, and the camera cords. Hall gets back
in as the ref checks on Nash, Hall has the mike and mocks Nash. Nash
refuses a match stop and gets back in, Hall slugs Nash repeatedly, whip to
the corner clothesline Hall. Another whip reversed, Nash side slam. They
are slow to get up so they slug it out on their knees. Nash with a knee to
the gut, then slugs him down, goes for the powerbomb but Hall flees.
Lockup, shove Nash. Lockup, armbar shoulder ram, then slapping of the head.

back, whip head slam Nash. Hall on the ropes, Nash charge sit down splash
twice. Nash with knees in the corner, Nash mocks him as he throws more
knees to the gut. Nash with an elbow to the head. Nash whip big boot.
Nash with a powerbomb, then a second one, Nash does the crotch chop over the
fallen Hall then casually walks away and throws away the victory by
countout. Errrrr....

WINNER: Scott Hall countout -> 14:20 mins. *

Cruiserweight Battle Royal
All right, this WCW match from Slamboree 1988 was curiously broken up into
two pieces and the commentary is in Russian. This was the only match worth
watching from that PPV as well. The winner of the battle royal gets an
immediate title shot. Doing the ring introductions is current cruiserweight
champ at the time Chris Jericho. Unfortunately it's hard to hear Jerchio
talk over the Russians talking. Taking part in the battle royal: Super
Calo, Chavo Guerrero, Ciciope, Damien, El Dandy, El Gerro, Juventud
Guerrera, Marty Jenetty, Billy Kidman, Evan Courageous, Lenny Lane,
Psicosis, Silver King, Johnny Swinger, and Villiano 4. The fight begins and
Evan hits a springboard clothesline on the guy on Psicosis. Super Calo
drops an elbow from the top on someone. Evan Courageous is thrown out by
Kidman. Super Calo slams Lane. Johnny Swinger is backdropped out by Juvy.

someone. Super Calo almost gets eliminated. Juvy drop kicks Super Calo off

Damien gets crotched on the top rope, Juvy drop kicks him off. Chavo drop
kicks El Dandy out. Chavo whip back body drop on Kidman. Chavo charges,
Kidman pulls down the top rope and Chavo sails over. It’s down to Juvy,
Psicosis, Ciciope and Kidman. Psicosis and Juvy slug it out, Kidman and
Ciciope slug it out in separate corners. Whip Kidman and Psicosis, Juvy
tosses Ciciope into Kidman. Psicosis kicks Ciciope, then charges to the
corner, Ciciope dodges and Psicosis flies over the top. Juvy slugs Kidman,
then headscissors him out. It’s Juvy and Ciciope left, staredown, then
finally shake hands and Juvy jumps over the top rope. Ciciope pulls off the
mask and reveals himself to be Dean Malenko as Chris Jericho has come in the
ring out of nowhere but stands there in shock.

WINNER: “Ciciope” Dean Malenko -> 8:25 mins.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship
(c)Chris Jericho vs. Dean Malenko - Dean goes to the attack right away and
kicks Jericho in the corner. Dean whip back body drop, drop kick. Suplex

ropes, to the top, flying back elbow gets two. Jericho slaps Malenko, whip
reverse boot Jericho, slugfest, Malenko charges the corner and misses,
superplex attempt by Jericho is blocked, Malenko with a gut wrencher off the
top rope! Ouch. Dean can’t cover though, he puts on the Texas Cloverleaf,
Jericho can’t make the ropes and taps out.

WINNER and NEW CHAMP: Dean Malenko submission -> 7 mins. ***½

These last few matches are on rotation from http://www.wrestling-media.ru
that is another Russian site that I have downloaded from them but they have
rotated most of this stuff out.

Bra & Panties Tag Match
Lita & Trish Stratus vs. Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keiber - This was from
Invasion 2001. The team that removes the shirts and pants of the opposition
first wins the match. Mankind Mick Foley is the referee. Lita & Trish
attack the WCW gals and beats the stuffing out of them. Trish and Torrie
start, drop kick Torrie, kicks Trish in the corner, slap. Trish turns her

WWF Heavyweight Championship - Triple Threat
(c)The Rock vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsey vs. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman - I
don't care what the World Wildlife Fund says, I KNOW the difference between
a wrestling company's logo and the animal rights wacko group logo with a
panda on it. This bout took place in Australia in October 2002 at a non-US
PPV Global Warming, and the match was grabbed from

him down. Brock up, F5 on Rock gets two. HHH goes for a pedigree on Brock,
